Hello, My name is Star and I came to Sarasota, FL in 1975. I am the owner of Star Struck Nail's. I have a cute little nail studio in beautiful downtown Sarasota, FL. I am here to provide Nail and Makeup services. I have been  licensed  in the State of Florida beginning in 1994 in the Sarasota, Bradenton area. This site is to promote me and  professional nail techs, MUA that want to share info about nails and makeup products and services. I love my line of work and I think this is a great career for women. Maureen Volpe has givin me the talent to do beautiful sculpted nails. I started with her in 1994. She made me who I am with nails today. I am grateful for that. I never  think of my job as work. I think of it as pleasure to be amongst clients and friends. It's great to hear where my clients go on vacation and to hear all about their exciting trips. I specialize in pink & white, colored acrylics, air brushing, nail art, manicures/pedicures and shellac. I don't do tips on the nails. I form and sculpt the nails to perfection. I have been trained the Volpe way of doing nails. I specialize with severe nail bitters to help them over come their nail biting and to train their nails to grow the proper way and look beautiful. My work has placed 5th in the World in November of 2008 in the NAILS magazine and in January  2015  I placed 24th in the World in the NAILPRO magazine. I have won BEST of the BEST in Sarasota for 2016. I  won 8 years in a row for compaction for nail art. I am very proud of how far I have come in my career with nails and make up. In the past I did Venus & Serena Williams while they were training at IMG in Bradenton, FL. I also had the pleasure of giving Tony Danza a manicure.
